Senior quarterback Vinny Grasso had a hand in two touchdowns and two 2-point conversions to lead the host Monsignor Donovan High School football team to a 37-12 win over Manchester on Friday night in a Shore Conference Class B South game and the season-finale for both teams.
Grasso scored on a 50-yard run, threw a 10-yard scoring pass to senior wide receiver Kyle Carrington, ran for a 2-point conversion and threw a 2-point conversion pass to junior Zach Skesavage.
Senior Joey Fields and junior Tre-Von Bass each had 1-yard TD runs and sophomore David Calderon a 5-yard TD run for Monsignor Donovan (5-5, 5-2).
Skesavage also had two interceptions.
Manchester ended the season 3-7 overall and 3-4 in Class B South.
It was the second straight season Donovan has defeated Manchester. The Griffins now lead the series, 19-17.
