Eaglecrest beat Denver South 71-49 in a non-conference tournament game Friday at Fossil Ridge High School.

Marquel Murphy finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors. Their leading scorer was Blend Avdili who added 14 points. Ibrahim Sylla had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Rebels.

Eaglecrest dropped the championship game of the tournament on Saturday to the host team Fossil Ridge. The Raptors are (3-1) this season.

With the first week of the season over Denver South is (1-2).
