Ben Davis’ eight-yard touchdown run and conversion in the second overtime gave Winneconne 29-28 Eastern Valley Conference victory over Berlin in Winneconne on Friday.
The Indians took the lead on their second overtime possession, and Erich Mueller kicked the extra point for a 28-21 lead.
But Winneconne, whose offense struggled in the second half, scored on Davis’ run, and then opted to go for the win. Davis ran three yards for two extra points.
Davis opened scoring for the Wolves (1-2, 1-3) on a 56-yard touchdown run. After Winneconn recovered a Berlin fumble, Mitchell Markert ran eight yards for a 14-0 first-quarter lead.
Davis ran 16 yards for a touchdown to gives the Wolves a 21-7 advantage going into halftime.

At Ripon, the Mustangs outscored 27-0 over the final three quarters to defeat the Tigers.
Tyler Zak led the Mustangs with 117 yards.
Ripon, which finished with 126 yards of offense, got 62 yards on a touchdown pass in the first quarter.
“They really held their own,” Little Chute coach Brian Rczykowski said of his team’s defense. “They did what we expect week in and week out. Put up a fight and get off the field.”
