FOLEY – Tara Dusharm (22 points) and Ashley Thell (17 points) were the only players in double figures for Foley, who rolled to a 53-44 Granite Ridge Conference win over Princeton Thursday night.

Jenna Doyle led the Tigers with 13.

Foley led 20-18 at the half.

ALBANY – Twelve different players scored for Albany as the Huskies hammered conference foe Milaca.

Junior guard Vanessa Spohn scored 16 points to lead Albany and junior center Kayla Reber added 10 points.

The Huskies (15-0 Granite Ridge, 22-3) have a chance to go undefeated in conference play with a win over Becker tonight.

Milaca was led by freshman center Molly Banks, who scored 10 points.

COLD SPRING – Amanda Christianson had a game-high 21 points to help the Cardinals soar past the Spartans in a nonconference victory. Kendall Kohler dropped 14 points and Jessica Syvrud had 12 points.

The Spartans (8-8 CLC, 11-14 overall) had a 27-24 lead at the half.

Abby Templin notched a double-double in the loss with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

SAUK RAPIDS – Ashton Haider and Kendra Raths each scored 14 points to lead Sartell over the Storm.

Bailey Bemboom scored a team-high 13 points for Sauk Rapids (1-15 Central Lakes Conference, 4-21 overall).

PIERZ – Kayla Carter had 15 points to lead the Pioneers to the win over the Cubs.

Pierz led 20-18 at the half. Megan Boser added nine points for the Pioneers (14-12).

MAPLE LAKE 59,
HOLDINGFORD 42

HOLDINGFORD – Joelle Ertl had 11 points for the Huskers in the loss and Jena Volkers had 10.

Rachel Latour led the Irish with 12 points. Maple Lake led 26-19 at the half.

MELROSE 53, MORRIS 51

MELROSE – Sophomore Emily Goerdt scored with less than 30 seconds to play to put Melrose up 53-51, but Morris wasn’t able to answer back.

Goerdt finished with 14 points. Senior guard Tayler Reller added 15 points for Melrose (6-7 West Central, 8-18 overall).

Morris was led by Mackenzie Smith’s 19 points. Senior guard Katie Holzheimer made four threes and finished with 12 points for the Tigers.

UPSALA 66, ROYALTON 37

UPSALA – It was a big night for Upsala.

The Cardinals grabbed a share of the Prairie Conference title by routing Royalton at home and senior forward Tracy Herzog reached 1,000 points in her career. Herzog finished with 19 points.

Aimee Pelzer had a double-double for Upsala with 15 points and 13 assists.

Alissa Zehrer contributed 11 points. Kalee Petron led Royalton with 19 points.

SWANVILLE 69,
ST. JOHN’S PREP 50

SWANVILLE – Steph Koetter scored 26 points in Swanville’s rout of St. John’s Prep.

Leah Schellinger led the Johnnies with 14 points, Ellen Arnold had 10 points and Cora Griffin had 13 points.

Swanville led 35-20 at the half.

Abby Schultz and Marissa Evans enjoyed “Senior Night” with 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Swanville (2-12 Prairie, 5-17 overall).

ST. JOHN’S PREP – Brittney Krebsbach 8, Ellen Arnold 10, Cora Griffin 13, Emma Backes 4, Taylor Nydeen 1, Leah Schellinger 14.

SWANVILLE – Danica Hanson 8, Marissa Evans 10, Abby Schultz 11, Nikki Primus 5, Chloe Larson 3, Steph Koetter 26, Tiffany Barthel 6.

ANNANDALE 69,
MOUND-WESTONKA 46

MOUND – Kaytlin Kuefler scored 25 points to lead Annandale past Mound-Westonka. The Cardinals clinched the Wright County Conference West Division title with the win.

Hannah Spaulding added 16 points for the Cardinals (11-3 Wright County, 20-5 overall), who led 35-21 at halftime.
