Boys’ basketball

Warren Mott 69, Grosse Point North 60: Mott’s Keith Phillips scored 18 points and grabbed 12 boards. Warren Mott is 14-1, 9-0 MAC White. North’s Jacob Zazhrias scored 20 points.

Madison Heights Madison 68, Port Huron 59: Davon Payne scored 18 points, Nick Wallace had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Daniel Bowen added 17 points for Madison (6-8). Everett Boone led all scorers with 21 points for Port Huron. Jovon Thompson added 15 points.

New Haven 55, Sterling Heights 43: Jamael Bell scored 12 points and pulled down 12 erbounds for New Haven (12-2, 8-2 MAC Gold). Sychar Sterling chipped and eight points and 13 rebounds. Mark Berishaj scored 18 points and Fannr Korkis added 10 points for Sterling Heights.

Detroit King 54, Detroit Mumford 52: Tyrone Acuff scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and had three blocks for Detroit King (8-10). King’s Dezmond Davis scored 17 points and Dayvon Austin added 15 points. Jamal Hall and Nick Murphy both contributed 15 points for Detroit Mumford.

Riverview Gabriel Richard 57, Frankel Jewish Academy 47: Jacob Camilerri scored 14 points and Danny Baum added 14 points for Riverview Gabriel Richard (8-10, 5-3). Oliver Soble contributed 19 points for Frankel Jewish Academy.

Taylor Kennedy 62, Woodhaven 51: Andy Marsh scored 23 points for Taylor Kennedy (7-9). Brandon Internei contributed 18 points for Woodhaven.

St. Clair Shores Lakeview 48, Clintondale 45: Robert Shields scored 12 points, Delano Paige scored 11 points and Eric Cass added 10 points for Lakeview (14-2, 10-2 MAC Silver). Lakeview’s Eric Tilney contributed 10 points and had 10 rebounds. Lamont Nelson chipped in with 13 points for Clintondale (10-5, 9-2 MAC Silver).

Girls’ basketball

Romulus 58, Dearborn Edsel Ford 41: Romulus’ Jasmine Parker scored 17 points. Cierra Bond added 13 points. Kennedy Rankin led Ford with 15 points.

Hartland 48, Plymouth 37: Hartland’s Lydsey Pajot scored 17 points. Hartland is 15-3. Kylie Robb led Plymouth (7-10 KLAA) with nine points.

Ferndale 59, Southfield 57: Ferndale’s Miceala Ellis scored 17 points and grabbed 10 boards. Terrance Stevens scored 12 points for Ferndale (14-2, 11-0 OAA Blue).

Homer 61, Athens 49: Homer’s Bailey Manis scored 25 points. Alyssa Boyd added 11 points for Homer (13-6). Allysha Beal led Athens (15-3) with 15 points.

Westland Glenn 70, Northville 51: ShaKeya Graves scored 23 points to lead Glenn (16-1). Kaira Barnes added 14 points.

Detroit Henry Ford 61, Detroit Osborn 56: Freshman James Towns scored 20 points and sophomore Antwan Carter scored 20 for Ford (6-10). Dante Pearson led Osborn (5-10) with 14 points.

Birmingham Seaholm 51, Hazel Park 19: Elise Tolbert scored 22 points to lead Seaholm (9-9, 6-6 OAA Blue). Dominique Coleman led Hazel Park with 13 points.

Walled Lake Northern 51, Pinckney 38: Caitlin Crowley scored a game-high 27 points to lead Northern (5-13) Jenn Steinaway led Pinckney (3-15) with 11 points.

Bloomfield Hills Lahser 56, Oak Park 28: Katie Stewart scored 32 points, including hitting a school record 10 three-pointers for Lahser (8-10, 7-5 OAA Blue). Susanne Miller had six points and eight assists, giving her the school record for most assists in a season (currently 135). Shawatie McCool scored nine points for Oak Park (4-14, 2-10).

Farmington Hills Harrison 33, Rochester Adams 20: Amber Stephens scored 19 points to lead Harrison (16-1, 12-1 OAA White). Raiven Owusu topped Adams (12-5, 10-3) with 11 points.

Birmingham Groves 57, Troy Athens 44: Shantai Graham scored 12 points, Briana Roe scored 11 points and Zoey Charmen added 10 points for Birmingham Groves. Mary Grace Stark scored 16 points for Troy Athens (1-17). Athens’ Lauren Genereau and Kasey Joslin both contributed nine points.

North Farmington 61, Troy 47: Bri Durrough scored 18 points and Megan Carter added 15 points for North Farmington (10-7, 8-4 OAA Red). Rachel Zelmaski contributed 12 points for Troy.

Canton 41, Novi 38: Paige Aresco scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds for Canton (14-4). Canton’s Rachel Winters added 14 points, had four rebounds and made two blocks. Amanda Geiger contributed 11 points for Novi (17-1).

Bloomfield Hills Andover 47, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 41: Rachel Rea scored 17 points for Bloomfield Hills Andover. Andover’s Shannon Wilson scored 13 points had five rebounds and five assists. Lindsey Klei contributed 12 points for Pontiac Notre Dame Prep.

Grosse Ile 42, New Boston Huron 31: Megan Swick scored 11 points for Grosse Ile (14-4, 12-2 Huron). Grosse Ile’s Alex Carney added nine points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Lisa Kowalewski contributed eight points for New Boston (12-6, 9-5 Huron).

University Liggett 66, Southfield Christian 30: Jessica Rotzoll scored 27 points and made seven blocks for University Liggett (13-4, 11-0 Metro). Liggett’s Haleigh Ristovski added 13 points and had 10 blocks and seven assists. Charity Godbold contributed 23 points for Southfield Christian Academy.

Inkster 66, Detroit North Western 33: Armani Garrard scored 21 points and Ariel Walker added 11 points for Inkster (17-0). Jasmine Cooper contributed 12 points for Detroit Northwestern (8-8).

East Detroit 52, Clintondale 47: Latesia Steele scored 11 points and made six steals for East Detroit (6-4, 7-6 MAC Silver). East Detroit’s Tiffany Wilson scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds. Daniella Marsee and Victoria Grimes both added 10 points each for East Detroit. Rolanda Petty contributed 19 points for Clintondale.

Dakota 50, Roseville 15: Olivia Savage scored nine points and made five assists for Dakota (16-3). Dakota’s Kylie Townsley scored nine points.

Hartland 48, Plymouth 37: Lindsey Pajot scored 17 points for Hartland (15-3). Shelby Cheston contributed eight points for Plymouth (7-10).

Milford 37, Walled Lake Central 24: Elise Gustafson scored 19 points for Milford (6-12). Kayla Bryant contributed nine points for Walled Lake Central (1-16).
