Field Hockey: Cherry Creek advances to state championship with win over Kent Denver

By

DENVER – Cherry Creek held Kent Denver scoreless and will advance to the state championship after defeating the Sun Devils 1-0.

Livvy List scored what be the only goal of the night for the Bruins and Quinn Egan had a spectacular night in the net, as she had many saves, but none bigger than her last save in the final minutes of the game to help secure the victory.

Cherry Creek will have a tough task ahead, as they look to beat Colorado Academy in the state championship, a team they lost to 3-1 earlier this season and winners of 32 straight games.

The championship game will be played at All City Stadium on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
