Final boys basketball power rankings

Ready for your discussion, critique or commentary, here are my final boys basketball power rankings for the 2012-13 season.
As always, comment below.

Through 3/09
1. Rice Memorial (20-4): While Casey Tipson and Marcus Willingham will graduate, coach Paul Pecor might have found a potential star in sophomore James Wells, who’s 10 points and three blocks keyed Rice’s overtime win over St. Johnsbury in the Division I final. Last ranking: 2.
2. St. Johnsbury (23-1): The Hilltoppers lost their final game of the season after winning their first 23. However, the future looks bright: Four starters are scheduled to return next winter. Last ranking: 1.
3. Vergennes (24-0): The Commodores galvanized a community and made good on their promise on an undefeated state-championship season. What a year for coach Peter Quinn and his senior-laden squad. Last ranking: 3.
4. Rutland (19-5): In the end, the Raiders couldn’t get past their playoff nemesis Rice. Still, another Patrick appearance for this program, which has been an annual contender. Last ranking: 4.
5. Spaulding (15-7): The Crimson Tide nearly pulled off the tournament’s biggest upset, but ultimately fell at Rice in the quarterfinals. Last ranking: 6.
6. Mount Mansfield (14-7): The Cougars return a lot of production that should make them contenders next year. Last ranking: 7.
7. Essex (13-9): The Hornets’ playoff run ended in Rutland. Last ranking: 5.
8. Williamstown (23-0): The Blue Devils secured a second straight Division III title, and this one came with an undefeated tag. An encore in 2013-2014 is a strong possibility. Last ranking: 8.
9. Burlington (11-12): Another team that expects to bring back some top talent, the Seahorses had a nice run to reach Patrick. Last ranking: Unranked.
10. Burr and Burton (21-3): The Bulldogs had a 13-game winning streak snapped by Vergennes in the Division II final. Last ranking: 10.
