1. Tornadoes season finale.
Booker T. Washington (Miami), the top ranked football team in the Super 25, has been tested this season, but no one has been able to hand the Tornadoes a loss.
Saturday they’ll face Edison (Miami).
Can the overmatched Red Raiders shock the country and deliver Booker T. Washington its first loss?
Not likely, but stranger things have happened.
2. LeBron’s reply to Johnson.
A little over a week ago, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) wing Stanley Johnson reached out to LeBron James via Twitter to ask him which school he should play for in college.
Will this be the week King James offers his royal advice? And, if so, which direction will he point Johnson toward?
3. Allen hitting a dominant stride.
Allen, the No. 2 football team in the Super 25, has been steamrolling opponents this season, and Friday they’ll do battle against McKinney (McKinney, Texas).
Can the Lions pull off the most improbable of wins this week?
4. Okafor and Jones are on the clock.
Now that Whitney Young (Chicago) center Jahlil Okafor, the country’s top overall player, and Apple Valley (Apple Valley, Minn.) point guard Tyus Jones, the country’s top floor general, have finished up their college campus visit tour, after a visit to Duke last weekend, everyone’s waiting to see where they’ll decide to team up in college.
The duo has made it crystal clear that they’re heading to the same college, and most believe they’re eager to end the process sooner than later.
5. D-Day for Looney.
On Thursday, Hamilton (Milwaukee) forward Kevon Looney, who is ranked No. 11 in the ESPN 100, will decide between Duke, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan State, UCLA and Wisconsin.
Who will land the talented forward?
