Fossil Ridge looking for field hockey coach

By

Fossil Ridge High School is looking for a girls field hockey coach for the fall sports season.

This will mark the second year Fossil Ridge has hosted the city-wide team, which was previously controlled by the district.

Most games are played at Fossil Ridge, and some are played at French Field.

Fossil Ridge athletic director Ken Denning said there are enough girls for a varsity and junior varsity team for the Fire Field Hockey team.

No applications have been submitted for the position, which was posted at the Poudre School District website May 24.

Denning said the ideal candidate would have some knowledge and basic understanding of the game. Although Denning said the school is simply seeking a field hockey coach, a candidate who can also teach would be a bonus.

Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply by visiting the Poudre School District website, at psdschools.org, and clicking on the “employment” tab at the top of the page.
