No. 1 ranked Riverdale moved to 23-0 on Friday night with a 65-41 victory over Siegel.

Alexa Middleton led four Lady Warriors in double figures with 17 points. Tyisha Petty had 15, and Tiffany Lewis and Olivia Jones had 11 each.

Erica Roberts hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for Siegel, and Paris Lawson had 11 points.

Smyrna 64, La Vergne 21

Kayla Hunt led Smyrna with 23 points, Jasmine Neal and Treasure Hunt had nine each and Allie Bolton had eight. Latoya Darby led La Vergne with eight, and Jasmine Smith had seven.

Central Magnet 45, DeKalb Co. 37

Claudia Smith led Central with 19 points, and Ola Obi had 14.

Cannon Co. 64, Warren Co. 26

Abbey Sissom had 17 points to lead the Lionettes (23-3), while Ashley Basham and Abby Jakes netted eight apiece.

PCA 44, Trailblazers 27

Providence Christian improved to 7-10 as Mary Claire Dutton led the way with 16 points. Amelia Rosa added nine points.


Siegel 75, Riverdale 38

Charles Clark led Siegel (23-2) with 16 points, Dominque Gooch scored 14 and Ryan Jones added 11. Tomaz Gray scored 12 to lead Riverdale.

Eagleville 54, MTCS 50

Carson Rudd led Eagleville with 17 points, Codi Majors had 12 and Brandon Kelley added 11. Tyler Lamb had 13 for MTCS, and Perry Patton added nine.


Heritage 45, Blackman 35

Heritage defeated Blackman 45-35 in the opening round of the TSSAA Class AAA state duals Friday night to send the Blaze to the losers bracket.

Blackman will wrestling Knoxville Halls, a 41-33 loser to Independence, at 9 a.m. today in an elimination match.

Collecting wins for Blackman were Tyler Garrison (152 pounds) by pin in 1:02, Tyler Sells (160) by technical fall 19-3, Michael Brobeck (126) by pin in 3:41, Ayinde Bakari (132) by pin in 1:19 and Josh Feuerbacher (138) by pin in 25 seconds.

Stone Memorial 41, Eagleville 33

Eagleville was sent to the losers bracket of the TSSAA Class A/AA state duals and will wrestle M.L. King at 9 a.m. today in an elimination match.

Collecting wins for Eagleville were Blake Solomon (160 pounds) by forfeit, John Hedgepath (220) by pin in 1:51, Hayden Hammonds (106) by an 8-6 decision, Ellis Dotson (113) by pin in 1:35, Casey Dotson (120) by pin in 2:34 and Jacob McCoy (126) by pin in 3:21.
