At Town of Menasha, St. Mary Central got off to a slow start before using a 29-9 run in the second quarter to take command.

Andrew Griffin led a balanced attack with 17 points, while Connor Schodorf added 15, Zachary Hoheisel 13 and Sam Hunt 10. Hunt finished with a double-double, adding 12 rebounds.

“Early season jitters,” St. Mary Central coach Mark Ziebell said. “They did a nice job pressuring us and we struggled to get things going offensively but picked things up in the second quarter. Shots we were missing in the first quarter we started making in the second.”

Jacob Emery led Lake Country with 19 points.

At Little Chute, DJ DeValk scored 14 points for the Mustangs, who came out strong in the third quarter to pull away for the victory.

Little Chute (1-1) led 14-11 after one quarter and 23-18 at halftime before using a 15-4 third-quarter run to put the game out of reach.

Sam Berger led the way for Omro (1-1) with 15 points.

At Elkhart Lake, Antonio Bett scored 35 points to help Elkhart Lake, which pulled away with a big second quarter.

The Resorters led 15-12 after one quarter before using an 18-8 run in the second to take a 33-20 halftime advantage.

Casey Cliff paced Stockbridge with 10 points.

Brando Vasquez and Zander Neuville scored 14 points each to lead Waupaca, while Nate Jenson added 12 points.

Vasquez added a team-high six assists and Jenson led the way with five rebounds.
