Tri-Valley was looking to remain in the Muskingum Valley League hunt, but host Sheridan made that task more difficult Tuesday.

Bailey Lotozo had 12 kills and Tiffany Myers added 10 as the Generals topped the second-place Lady Dawgs, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

The Scotties dropped to 11-2 in the MVL and 13-3 overall to fall two matches behind John Glenn with three in the league remaining.

Lotozo chipped in eight digs and six aces, Myers added seven blocks and was 100 percent serving, Alli George was 100 percent serving with 22 assists and two blocks, Brittney Meadows had 17 digs and Addie Smith had eight digs for Sheridan (9-4, 12-5).

Tri-Valley was led by Sydney Sterling with 100 percent serving and eight assists, Deidre Prince with 100 percent serving and six kills and Sydney Miller with 100 percent serving, five kills and two blocks.

Tri-Valley won the reserve match 25-8, 25-5, as Abby Neal was 100 percent serving with seven assists, Avery Miller hit four kills and Mkensea Pape was 100 percent serving with three kills.
