The host Crusaders assisted on almost all of their baskets as they earned a Trailways victory.

Jessica Steinich and Lydia Greenfield both had four assists and Kristen Kok had three. As a team, CWC finished with 17 assists.

Kristen Pugh led the scoring with 16 points.

“We played well in the first quarter and the last quarter mainly. They pressed us from the second quarter on,” CWC coach Charlie Mulder said. “We struggled with it in the second and third quarters, but we figured some things out in the fourth, and we handled the ball much better and got some pretty good looks.”

CWC plays at Springs on Saturday at 4 p.m.
