Three ingredients culminated for a night St. Cloud Cathedral senior Jenna Januschka won’t soon forget.

It was “Senior Night” at Cathedral, Januschka needed four points to reach 1,000 for her career, and it was her birthday.

Januschka scored the Crusaders’ first four points of the game in a 64-57 win over Milaca.

She finished with 27 points, grabbing 12 rebounds. Erin Stocker also had a strong game for Cathedral (13-3 Granite Ridge, 18-8 overall) with 10 points and eight boards.

“I’m really excited, Januschka said. “I’m mostly excited we got the win. It’s weird how everything came together. It’s definitely a night I won’t forget.”

Ashley Cassens led Milaca (2-14, 6-19) with 11 points.

HOWARD LAKE – Mikayla Kummet sank a layup with five seconds remaining in overtime to clinch an outright CMC championship for EV-W (14-0 CMC, 20-4 overall).

Courtney Dilley and Dani Nelson each had 10 points for the Eagles.
