“The last couple minutes of the first half really gave us a lot of momentum … all of the sudden we just started hitting shots,” said head coach Mike McCarthy after the game.
Junior forward Sarah Tierney finished the night with a career-high 24 points. Senior guard Taylor Delgado also finished with 24 points, 18 of which came from three pointers.
“Every single person on this team did their part and that’s what we needed to do to win and we came out on top,” said Delgado.
Visitation will welcome Holton-Arms on Tuesday while Bullis travels to St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes.
