Delaware Valley 1, Voorhees 0: Freshman Ava Boethig scored 20 minutes into the second half off a Danielle Tomko cornerkick and it proved enough as the Delaware Valley High School girls soccer team topped Voorhees 1-0 Monday in Lebanon Township. Sophomore Evangeline Soucie made eight saves for the Terriers (8-8-2), including three that prevented what looked to be sure goals, Voorhees coach Dave Sullivan said, as she posts her third shutout in eight games. Hannah Panreck stopped six shots for the Vikings (4-14-1).
North Plainfield 3, Dunellen 0: Caitlin Gugliotta, Gabby Spencer, Dannia Ledezma scored for North Plainfield. Ashley Marshall made one save for the shutout, as the canucks improved to 7-9-1. Dunellen, which got nine saves from Casey Olsommer, fell to 4-13.
Pingry 0, Villa Walsh 0: Emma Thomas made seven saves and Pingry generated 11 shots on goal, but the Big Blue (10-4-2) settled for a draw.
