Spotswood 1, Highland Park 0 (OT): Jessica Meagher’s goal on an assist from Lauren Kiszkiel gave Spotswood the win with one minute remaining in the first overtime for ninth-seeded Spotswood.
Old Bridge 3, North Brunswick 0: Ashley Cafarella netted a pair of goals, Samantha Potts added a goal, and Giana Taranto contributed two assists as second-seeded Old Bridge (15-1) advanced. Danielle Segerholm made five saves for 18th-seeded North Brunswick (5-12-1).
South Brunswick 2, Piscataway 1: Jenna Mastronardi and Jules Franco each netted a pair of first half goals that stood up for third-seeded South Brunswick (12-5). Danielle Grant scored in the 37th minute for 14th-seeded Piscataway (6-11) to cut its deficit in half. Sydney Schneider made six saves for the Vikings while Jackie McEvoy had 14 saves for the Chiefs.
East Brunswick 5, South Plainfield 0: Gabrielle Sachs scored twice, while Sydney Rosa scored once and recorded two assists as top-seeded East Brunswick exploded for four first half goals. Carla LaRocca opened the scoring in the fifth minute, while Rosa and Kayla Kennedy each tallied before the midpoint of the first half. Alex Kalafor stopped two shots, combining with Gabriele Benzilio to record the shutout.
Monroe 3, Woodbridge 0: Taylor Evanchik, Abby Ludwig, and Demi Rousseau each scored a goal as sixth-seeded Monroe advanced past 11th-seeded Woodbridge. Erin Seppi made five saves for the Falcons.
Bishop Ahr 4, Wardlaw-Hartridge 0: Jillian Vassallo recorded two goals and an assist, Lindsey Scarmozzino had two assists, and Samantha Driscoll and Stephanie Spada both added goals as fourth-seeded Bishop Ahr rolled past 13th-seeded Wardlaw-Hartridge.
Metuchen 5, Carteret 0: Melissa Chura recorded two goals and an assist and Ariana SantoPietro also scored two goals as fifth-seeded Metuchen improved to 18-0. Emily Buchanan made three saves to secure the shutout for the Bulldogs. Aisha Chauhan had eight saves for 12th-seeded Carteret (13-5-1).
Bound Brook 3, New Brunswick 2 (OT): Kylie Carrion, Emily Morales and Alexandria Thiessen had the goals for Bound Brook, which won for the first time after 16 losses. Yaqueline Juare had two goals for New Brunswick (0-19)
Rutgers Prep 3, Somerset Tech 1: Bree Livingston scored two goals and Tyler Nolley scored one to push Rutgers Prep (7-7-2), which scored three unanswered second half goals. Julia Heller scored an early second half goal for Somerset Tech (16-6), which gave them a 1-0 lead at the time.
