Somerset County Tournament quarterfinals

Bridgewater-Raritan 2, Hillsborough 0: Senior Lauren Hall scored on a direct kick from 25 yards out in the 21st minute, and Abby Ousoulijoglou sealed the victory in the 77th minute off an assist by Hall and second-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan advanced to the semifinals of the Somerset County Tournament. Senior Casey Murphy made two saves for the Panthers, who will play host to third-seeded Montgomery in next Saturday’s quarterfinals. Kat Albanese stopped six shots for seventh-seeded Hillsborough.

Montgomery
3, Watchung Hills 2 (OT): Senior Colby Ciarrocca scored 5:08 into overtime to lift third-seeded Montgomery. Scoreless at halftime, Ally Grunstein scored with 23 minutes left in regulation to give sixth-seeded Watchung Hills a lead. The Cougars then got a pair of goals from Helen Sluder to give them a 2-1 lead, before Amanda Marques tied it with 3:00 left off a Sam DePinho assist to force overtime. Montgomery will face second-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan in the semifinals.

Pingry 4, Bernards 1: Senior Rachel Corboz posted a hat trick and Tanika Roach added a goal to lead top-seeded Pingry. Rachel Jacob contributed two assists for the Big Blue, who will play host to No. 4 Ridge in Saturday’s quarterfinals. Montana Sutton scored a second-half goal for eighth-seeded Bernards.

Union County Tournament quarterfinals

Westfield 2, Summit 1 (5-4 in shootout): Karli Sottung scored a second-half goal for third-seeded Westfield, which topped No. 6 Summit 5-4 in a shootout.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 4, Oak Knoll 0: Katherine Cunningham scored two goals, and Kayla Diggs and Roti Baliatico added one each to send top-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood. Jodie Cornwell, Kelly Yeager and Paige Van Buskirk picked up assists for the Raiders, who will face fifth-seeded Union in next Saturday’s semifinals.

Union 1, Governor Livingston 0: Olivia Emanuel made eight saves for fourth-seeded Governor Livingston, but Alyssa Caggiano struck for a second-half goal to lift the fifth-seeded Farmers.

Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament first round

North Hunterdon 1, Hackettstown 0 (3-1 in shootout): Brynn McDonald, Heather Tostevin and Katherine Campbell hit during the shootout as 10A North Hunterdon advanced to the quarterfinals. Kelli Liebermann made three saves during the shootout and seven saves during regulation and overtime for the Lions, who will face 3B seed Pope John XXIII next Saturday.

Delaware
Valley 2, Lenape Valley 0: Amber Ritchlin and Ava Boethig netted second-half goals, and Amalia Crevani posted an assisted, as No. 5A seed Delaware Valley blanked the No. 4B seed. Ashley O’Toole posted nine saves for the Terriers, who will face No. 1A seed Hunterdon Central in next Saturday’s quarterfinals.

Hunterdon Central 3, Wallkill Valley 0: Alli DeLuca posted a goal and an assist, and Luciana Zullo and Riley Coopersmith added goals to advance No. 1A seed Hunterdon Central. Bristol Pizzuto posted six saves for the Red Devils, who will play host to 5A seed Delaware Valley in next Sayurday’s quarterfinals.

Newton 4, Voorhees 0: Two goals in each half lifted No. 1B seeded Newton over No. 8A Voorhees.

Regular season

Bishop Ahr 2, Edison 0: Jillian Vassallo scored two goals and Brianna Foster recorded four saves for the shutout as Bishop Ahr (11-1) clinched the championship of the GMC White Division. Kaitlin Marold made seven saves for Edison (9-3-2).

Colonia 3, North Brunswick 2 (2 OTs): Giana Gigantino scored three minutes into the second overtime to lift Colonia. Amanda Poulakowski and Stephanie Piccininni also scored for the Patriots (7-6), who got two assists from Jazlyn Moya-Santos. Ashley Cherry and Tatum Altman hit for North Brunswick (2-9-1).

East Brunswick 3, Piscataway 0: Catherine McCulley and Gillian Blewett each scored their first goals of the season to lead East Brunswick. Sydney Rosa added a goal for the Bears, while Alex Kalafor stopped six shots to record the shutout.

South Brunswick 3, Monroe 1: Brielle Errico and Miho Yamada each tallied a goal and an assist to lead South Brunswick. Fran Dimitrakis also hit for the Vikings (8-5), while Abigayle Ludwig scored for Monroe (6-6-1).

South Plainfield 6, Perth Amboy 1: Taylor Henry scored two goals and Michaella Butrico, Amanda Harper, Caity Hughes and Caroline Ratti added scores to send South Plainfield (6-6-1). Nicole Luna hit for Perth Amboy (2-10-1).
