Ridge 1, Pingry 0: Senior midfielder Alex Weyrauch ripped a 30-yard blast over the keeper’s head and into the back of the net with 4:31 left in regulation to lift Ridge over Pingry in Skyland Conference Delaware Division action. Samantha Carney made two saves to earn the shutout, while Emma Thomas stopped two shots for the Big Blue (2-1). Weyrauch’s goal, which was assisted by her sister, Chrissy Weyrauch, gave the Red Devils their first victory of the season after an 0-2 start.
Bridgewater-Raritan 1, Watchung Hills 1: Samantha DePinho scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute to give Watchung Hills the lead, but Jessica Schwed responded with a header off a Lauren Hall indirect kick with 14 second left in regulation and the game finished in a draw. Lindsey Carroll posted eight saves for the Warriors (2-0-1), while Casey Murphy stopped five shots for the Panthers (1-1-1).
South Hunterdon 4, Manville 2: Senior Lauren Wendleboun netted three goals and Cady Trelstad added another as South Hunterdon (1-2) recorded the first-year program’s first-ever varsity win. Mariana Munoz and Estrella Diaz scored goals for Manville (1-3).
Scotch Plains-Fanwood 2, Oak Knoll 0: Kelly Yaeger and Tori Baliatico scored goals and Katherine Cunningham and Jodi Cornwell dished out assists as Scotch Plains-Fanwood moved to 3-0.
4, Piscataway 1: Taylor Evanchik scored two goals and Kelly Kimbo and Demi Rousseau added one each as Monroe rolled. Maia Williams scored off an Ayana Garvin pass late in the first half for Piscataway (2-1).
South Brunswick 4, Woodbridge 1: Julianna Franco tallied two goals and two assists, and Brielle Errico added a goal and an assist to power South Brunswick. Cagnie Antczak also hit for the Vikings (1-0). Hadiza Mamman scored off an Alexus Fuentes pass for Woodbridge (2-1) 12 minutes into the game before South Brunswick scored four unanswered.
Hillsborough 3, North Hunterdon 1: Christine Mayorga, Tori Minutillo and Cate Zuccarello scored second-half goals to send Hillsborough (2-1). Kaylee Motter scored off a Jillian Kennedy feed for North Hunterdon (0-3) in a game that was scoreless at half.
Bishop Ahr 5, South Plainfield 0: Sophomore Jillian Vassallo netted three goals and Alexa Poveliaitis added a goal and an assist for Bishop Ahr (2-1). Brianna Foster made four saves for her second shutout, while Sydni Suroweic stopped 12 shots for South Plainfield (0-2).
Gill St. Bernard’s 0, North Plainfield 0: Alyx Schrecengost made four saves for Gill St. Bernard’s (1-1-1), while Maria Alcivar stopped five shots for North Plainfield (2-0-1).
1, Mount St. Mary 1: Junior Haley Pilone scored off a pass from Ava Boethig 3:00 into the second half to tie the game, which ended after regulation as lightning and heavy rain arrived befoere overtime could begin. Shannon Zimmerman opened for Mount St. Mary in the 12th minute off a Sarah Strehle pass. Ashley O’Toole made 13 saves for the Terriers (1-1-1), while Emily Baumley stopped seven shots for the Mount Lions 2-0-1.
Union Catholic 2, A.L. Johnson 0: Kaitlyn Njorge scored two goals and Torie Zamorski made seven saves, as Union Catholic improved to 3-1.
East Brunswick 4, Hun 0: Sydney Rosa scored a pair of goals and Ellie DiLiberto and Kayla Kennedy each added another to pace East Brunswick in a road victory. Alex Kalafor and Gabrielle Benzilio combine to stop six shots to record the shutout for the Bears.
Governor Livingston 3, Union 1: Lindsay DiStaso, Riley Jankowski and Lauren Jankowski scored first-half goals as Governor Livingston stayed undefeated. Olivia Emanuel recorded six saves for the Highlanders (3-0).
3, Phillipsburg 1: Alexis Williams, Maxine Blackwood and Emily Millar scored goals for Somerville in a game called 15 minutes into the second half because of lightning. Julie Johnstonbaugh, Melissa Hand and Emily Lockwood notched assists for the Pioneers (3-0).
Hunterdon Central 6, Franklin 0: Six different players scored goals and freshman Gabi Provenzano posted two assists, as Hunterdon Central built a 5-0 lead by halftime and rolled on to improve 3-0. Franklin fell to 0-3.
Bernards 1, Belvidere 0: Laura Galli scored in the opening minute of the second half to snap a scoreless tie and lift Bernards. Alexa Demartino picked up the assist for the Mountaineers (3-1), while Sarah Ryan made three saves to earn her third shutout.
