Girls soccer: Tritons win in Green Bay-Kenosha Challenge; Pirates get road win over Phantoms

2nd Annual Green Bay-Kenosha Challenge

Mackenzie Hansen scored a pair of goals and Elle Woleske made six saves as host Green Bay Notre Dame defeated Kenosha Indian Trails 6-0 in its first game of the Second Annual Green Bay-Kenosha Challenge.

Hannah French, Jacque Staed, Maddie Dubois and Kristin Tomcheck each scored once for the Tritons.

In other games at Notre Dame, Kenosha Tremper defeated Green Bay Southwest 2-0 and Kenosha Bradford beat Green Bay Preble 2-0.

Bay Port 3, West De Pere 1

DE PERE – Taylor Archibald had a goal and an assist for Bay Port as the Pirates won 3-1 over West De Pere.

Elsie Myers and Morgan Freeman also scored for Bay Port. Aliece Kerscher made four saves in goal for the Pirates, and Kayla Tabalske added three.

Cassandra Micolichek netted the Phantoms’ only goal.

De Pere 2, Brookfield East 1

BROOKFIELD – Megan Lindstrom made 12 saves in goal for the Redbirds as they won a nonconference match at the Brookfield East tournament.

Carmen Villarruel scored a goal and assisted on Alyssa Belcher’s goal for De Pere, which improved to 9-3-1 overall.
