The Wildcats won by shutout for the fourth time in the last five games and pushed their winning streak to seven with a Northern Buckeye Conference win over the Eagles on Thursday at Wildcat Stadium.
Woodmore’s Camryn Bench got the scoring starting when she tallied a goal right in front of the net off a feed from Leah Henry just 1:37 into the match. Cailey Willhardt later scored off a corner kick from Lily Rothert for a 2-0 halftime advantage. The lone goal of the second half was scored by Sarah Blausey at the 29:46 mark
Goalkeeper Julia Barbee made four saves for Woodmore (9-1, 6-0 NBC). The Wildcats have outscored their opponents, 21-1, over the last five games.
