Betsy Portch won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 20.07 seconds and Faith Schutt won the 100 freestyle in 1:05.65 as the visiting John Jay High School girls swim team defeated Poughkeepsie 91-79 at Poughkeepsie Middle School on Tuesday.

The 400 freestyle relay of Ereena Akirvata, DeAnna Newman, Micah Jumpp and Lakshmi Bapatla won in 4:29.66 for John Jay (5-1).

Betsy Quezada won the 200 individual medley (2:31.18) and 100 backstroke (1:23.83) for Poughkeepsie (1-1). Jenna Salmonese won the 50 free (28.78) and 500 free (6:36.96). Marjorie Hodos won the 100 butterfly (1:20.09) and Gabrielle Felton won the 100 breaststroke (1:23.83).

Marlboro 96, Franklin D. Roosevelt 71 — Laynie Callo and Alyssa Hogancamp each won two individual events for the Iron Dukes in a victory late Monday.

Callo took first in both the 50 free (28.75) and the 100 backstroke (1:10.71). Hogancamp triumphed in the 200 free (2:23.69) and the 500 free (6:25.46).

Hyde Park’s Presidents received victories from Sarah Izzo in the 100 breaststroke (1:20.82) and the 200 individual medley (2:35.46).

Cornwall 110, New Paltz 67 – Bridget Rodezno gave the Huguenots their lone individual victory late Monday, prevailing in the 200 individual medley in 2:20.31.

New Paltz also won the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Minisink Valley 95, Rhinebeck 63 — Kathryn Bergin won the 200 freestyle (1:59.49) and the 100 butterfly (1:02.29) for the Hawks late Monday.

Our Lady of Lourdes 85, Lakeland/Panas 85 — Grace Nikolski qualified for the Section 1 meet in the 100 breaststroke during the meet held at Poughkeepsie Middle School late Monday.
