Kiel swept the singles competition en route to a 5-2 victory over Two Rivers in an Eastern Wisconsin Conference girls tennis match held Tuesday.

Amanda DeAmico led the charge for the Raiders, rolling to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.

Partners Abby D’Alberto and Monica Micoliczyk came back from a 6-1 first-set loss to claim a come-from-behind win at No. 3 doubles, the Falcons’ lone win against the Jets.

The short-handed Golden Raiders pulled out the Fox River Classic Conference victory at home over the Redbirds.

“Singles stepped up big again this dual, despite missing Lindsey Gosse from the lineup,” said North coach Lindsay Harrison-Eirich. North won three of four singles matches, including a three-set victory by Alyssa Perronne at No. 4.

North’s top two doubles teams, Maggie Krummel-Christina Villalovas and Allison Pond-Abbie Flasher, also won three-set matches.

The Redwings and Hornets played several close matches, but Preble took three of four in singles to take the FRCC dual at South.

South’s Alisha Ziegler won in three sets at No. 1 singles. Mimi Pulido and Samantha Roelse, and Jennifer Leonhardt and Emma Sharpe, earned straight-sets wins.
