Girls tennis: Trio of Jets named 1st-team EWC


The Eastern Wisconsin Conference released its all-conference accolades on Monday with ever Roncalli flight receiving recognition except No. 3 doubles.

The Jets Tallie Piaskowski, fresh off her third place finish at the WIAA State Individual Tournament in Division 2, was named first team at No. 1 singles. Also earning first team honor for Roncalli were Chloe Kitzerow (No. 2 singles) and Maya Ledvina (No. 4 singles).

Laura Platteter (No. 3 singles) made the second team for Roncalli as did No. 2 doubles duo Julia Platteter and Abby Welnetz while the Jets No. pair of Hannah Kubsh and Maddie Salutz were named to the third team.

No players for either Two Rivers or Kiel were named all-EWC.
