Grand Island tops North Tonawanda, 20-14

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y- After falling behind 7-0 in the first quarter, Grand Island scored 20 unanswered in the first half to beat North Tonawanda 20-14.

NT took a 7-0 lead when quarterback Chris Woodard (#8) scampered 34 yards on the designed keeper.

But Grand Island came right back. Running back Joe Chiaravalle (#16) plunged in from point blank range to tie the game at 7.

Then, GI took the lead on a deep pass to the end zone from quarterback Giuseppe Campanella to receiver Ben Goc.

Vikings led 20-7 at the half and held on to win 20-14.
