The Blue Ace girls won a Division II District title, earning nine automatic state qualifying bids and breaking four meet records in the process.

Sydney King won the 200 freestyle (1:51.3) and the 500 free (4:54.48), setting meet records in both events.

Abby Stone was first in the 100 free (51.31) and second in the 200 individual medley (2:06.11)

Keely Lovern won the 100 backstroke (57.26) and Kassandra Mestemaker was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.97).

Granville was first in two relays: the 200 medley (1:45.62) and the 200 free (1:37.68), breaking the meet record in both. They also qualified in the 400 free (3:42.37).

The area’s other best girls finisher was Northridge’s Josie Bunstine in the 100 breast (9th, 1:11.27) and 100 butterfly (11th, 1:02.81).

The Blue Ace boys automatically qualified in seven individual events and three relays.

Jack Barrett was first in the 200 IM (1:59.62), Sam Wagner was second in the 50 free (21.94) and the 100 free (48.46), Seth Stahl was second in the 100 fly (52.88) and the 100 back (55.84) and Timmy Spichiger was second in the 200 free (1:48.27) and the 500 free (4:52.92).

Granville’s boys won the 400 free relay (3:21.65), and were second in the 200 medley relay (1:38.64) and the 200 free relay (1:31.23).

Other top area boys finishers were Licking Valley’s Wyatt Wortkoetter in the 200 free (6th, 1:51.58), Lakewood’s Jarod Rose in the 200 free (10th, 1:59.57) and 500 free (6th, 5:20.68) and the Lancers’ Nathaniel Graham in the 100 back (9th, 59.80) and 200 IM (10th, 2:11.16).
