Harmons lead Berlin to victory at Waupaca Invitational

Kinsey Harmon won the individual girls title, while younger sister Malerie finished second as the Berlin girls team turned in another strong showing to win the team title at the 13-team Waupaca Invitational on Thursday.

Behind the Harmon sisters, Julia Silloway also earned a top 10 finish by taking eighth, while Anna Falk and Stephanie Melchor placed 17th and 18th, respectively, to round out the Indians’ scoring runners.

Winneconne finished fourth among the girls with Abi Salm leading the way in 13th place.

The boys team title went to Little Chute, with Winneconne placing fifth and Berlin coming in sixth in the final standings.

Sam Engel in fourth and Luke Kubasta in seventh led the Wolves, while Berlin was paced by Jackson Aton and Jacob Caswell, who placed 14th and 18th, respectively.
