Dillard won the city, district and state championships in the 120-yard
high hurdles and 220-yard low hurdles as a senior at Cleveland East
Technical. At the 1948 Olympics in London, Dillard won gold medals in
the 100-meter dash and 4×100-meter relay. At the 1952 Games, he won gold
in the 110-meter hurdles and 4×100-meter relay.
Harrison Dilliard talks about being nominated for the 2013 National High School Sports Hall of Fame and what he would tell a high school student-athlete today.
He will be inducted on June 27th in Denver.
