The girls and boys teams won the Mount Gilead Invitational out of a 13-team field with 136 and 133 points, respectively.
First-place finishers for the girls were Claudia Allen in the long jump (15-feet-7), Kayla Carmichael in the 100 (13.3) and Hailey Ferguson in the 200 (26.1). The 800 relay (1:50.7) and 400 relay (52.3) also won.
Winners for the boys were the 3,200 relay (8:51.8), 1,600 relay (3:34.2), 800 relay (1:34.1) and the 440 shuttle hurdle relay (1:10). Freddy Stinson, Carlos Rencher and Josh Lines were each a part of three winning relays, and Matt Kaser joined them on two.
