BELVEDERE – Austin Coughenour went 8 for 14 for 150 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown to lead Concord to a 34-13 win over Delcastle in Blue Hen Flight A action on Saturday morning.
Elijah Davis made five catches for 98 yards and scored on a 38-yard touchdown pass from Coughenour, who also scored on a 1-yard run. The Raiders (3-3, 3-1) stormed to a 26-0 halftime lead. Matt Mellette, Brian Dennis and Brycen Alleyne also scored rushing touchdowns for Concord.
Ahmere Dorsey connected on two third-quarter touchdown passes for Delcastle (1-5, 1-4), hitting Jose Torres for 11 yards and Miciah Mills for 64 yards.
Paramus Catholic 56, St. Mark’s 6PARAMUS, N.J. – Paramus Catholic, ranked in the top 10 nationally by many high school polls, quickly built a big lead and eased past St. Mark’s (4-2). The Spartans’ only score came on a 10-yard pass from Matt Williams to Connor Eastep.
Delaware Military 48, Tatnall 7 GREENVILLE – Trampas Henderson rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns as Delaware Military defeated Tatnall in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon.
Henderson scored on two 20-yard runs to help the Seahawks (4-2) amass 34 second-quarter points en route to a 41-0 halftime lead.
Al Hanson rushed for 77 yards and ran for a 40-yard touchdown for DMA. Jacob Hudson had a 30-yard touchdown run while Tyler Hill had a 25-yard scoring run and Trevor Hill had a 70-yard touchdown run. Michael Leonard returned a fumble 20 yards for another DMA touchdown. Tatnall fell to 1-5.
St. Andrew’s 38, George School 0 NEWTOWN, Pa. – Six different players scored while the defense forced five turnovers as St. Andrew’s blanked George School on Saturday afternoon.
Garrett Hanrahan started the scoring by recovering a fumble in the end zone in the first quarter. Ryan Bellissimo threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Evan Thomas, Joseph Hines returned an interception 47 yards and Tristan Thomas scored on a 5-yard run as the Saints (2-3) increased their lead to 26-0 at halftime.
Donovan Simpson and Anthony Holley added rushing touchdowns in the second half.
Hodgson 42, Dickinson 6 MILLTOWN – Raymond Jones threw for two touchdowns and ran for two others as Hodgson (5-2, 5-0) earned a Blue Hen Flight B victory on Friday night. Jones threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Justin Hardy and an 11-yard scoring strike to Bilal Nichols.
