Noah Clayberg played a part in five touchdowns as Pella claimed the District 8 title in Class 3-A on Friday.
Clayberg scored on three first-quarter rushes for Pella (8-0). He converted a 23-yard scoring pass to Ben Konfrst and then rushed for another score in the third quarter.
Oskaloosa (5-3) was led by Andrew Landgrebe’s 122 rushing yards. Nate VanVeldhuizen scored a late rushing touchdown.
Oskaloosa’s Nick Rutledge recorded 10 tackles and two interceptions. Pella’s Garrett Jansen compiled 10 tackles and a fumble recovery.
