Hayes Cronk pitched a no-hitter over five innings, leading the Central Catholic baseball team to a 12-0 home win over Twin Lakes on Wednesday afternoon.
Cronk also gave himself all the offensive help he would need, driving in a pair of runs. Ryan DeBoy finished with three RBIs, while Andrew Hubertz and Cowan Olinger each knocked in two runs for the Knights.
Led by a three-hit, three-RBI performance from Braden Giroux, McCutcheon picked up a Hoosier Crossroads Conference win over Zionsville.
The Mavericks lost a two-run lead in the fifth inning before regaining the upper hand with a pair of runs in the sixth.
Caroline O’Donnell’s RBI single delivered the decisive run as McCutcheon posted four runs in the eighth inning for a 5-1 victory at Kokomo.
After Kokomo tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh, the Mavericks (6-5) came up with a one-out rally in the extra frame. Katie Alberts and Haley Strong reached with back-to-back hits, setting the table for O’Donnell’s game-winner.
Audrey Headley picked up the victory on the mound, improving to 5-2.
Fountain Central 7
Stephanie Kenworthy scored a pair of runs and pitched a complete game as the Mustangs coasted on the road.
Linley Smith tripled and scored twice for Fountain Central. Becca Barton and Kay Irvine drove in the Patriots’ runs.
Clinton Prairie 5
Jasmine Sutton held the Oracles to three hits as the Gophers won at Delphi.
Summer Sutton struck out 10 in defeat.

Caitlyn Bradley was 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs, leading the Bulldogs to a lopsided victory.
Riley Cripe was also 3-for-4 in the win, doubling twice and driving in three runs.
