High School Roundup: Jackson Memorial boys notch important Class A South win

Garrett Muzikowski scored the game winning goal with two minutes left in the first overtime period, giving Jackson Memorial an important Class A South victory, 2-1 over Southern.

It was the senior’s seventh goal of the season, but definitely the most important of the year for the Jaguars (5-1-1, 2-1-1), as it gave head coach Steve Bado his 100th career victory.

Senior Anthony Provini put the Jaguars ahead in the 66th minute, and Chris Starner had the equalizer for the Rams (3-4-1, 1-3-1) in the 66th minute.

MANASQUAN 0, HOLMDEL 0: Manasquan’s Johanna Keosseian had five saves and Holmdel’s Misha Nikoo made three saves.
