Abreham Kittel added to his team-leading goals total with four more tallies Tuesday night, leading state-ranked Trumansburg past visiting Union Springs/Port Byron, 5-1, in Interscholastic Athletic Conference North Division boys soccer.
Kittel’s big night gave him 19 goals on the season; Cam Denmark had the other goal for the Blue Raiders (10-2), ranked 17th in the Class C state poll.
Tyler Ross scored for the visitors at the 23-minute mark, but Kittel responded three minutes later. Kittel put T-burg up for good at 12 minutes of the second half, then completed his four-goal night with scores at 19 and 25 minutes of the second period.
Denmark ended the scoring with 14 minutes to play.
Trumansburg travels to Dryden on Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. IAC North Large showdown. The Purple Lions (9-1), whose only loss is to top-ranked Lansing, defeated the Blue Raiders, 3-0, con Sept. 9 in the first round of the GLM Tournament in Watkins Glen.
Lansing 10, Whitney Point 0: At Lansing, team scoring leader Jason Yahn had four goals and two assists as the Bobcats (10-0) scored five times in both halves.
Andy Parkes, Ben Kutler, Donovan Baird, Amael Bathic, Matt Robinson and Charlie Mauser also scored for Lansing.
The Bobcats travel to Union Springs on Thursday, then host Groton on Monday.
So. Cayuga 4, Groton 0: In Poplar Ridge, Chad Reeves had a pair of goals to lead the Chiefs (3-8-1). Jake Stephenson and Steve Farkas added goals for the winners, while Dylon Conklin made two saves to earn the shutout. Tim Baxendell had 19 saves for Groton.

Elmira 5, Ithaca 2: On Tuesday at Ithaca, Sierra Barr had a hat trick and Tianna Hatch-Dailey added two goals as the Express improved to 11-0. Barr has 22 goals on the season.
Charlotte Williams and Elora Becraft scored unassisted goals for the Little Red, while Amy Schmoys made four saves.
The Little Red (2-8-1) is scheduled to travel to Maine-Endwell on Thursday for a 5 p.m. match, then return home on Tuesday to face Horseheads at 7 p.m. at Moresco Stadium.

Spencer-Van Etten 4, Tioga 2: At Spencer, Lisa Nelson scored two goals to lead the Panthers (8-2). Charlotte Rosvold and Maggie Hollenbeck added single goals while Morgan Price made two saves in the shutout.
Vestal 210, Ithaca 220: At Cornell’s Robert Trent Jones course, Ryan Mihok fired a 1-under 35 on the front nine to lift the Golden Bears (10-1) past the Little Red (5-7).
Collyn Shippos (39) and Dom Cicchetti (40) paced Ithaca.
Trumansburg 3, Whitney Point 0: At Trumansburg, Chloe Mount had nine kills, 10 aces and three blocks to lead the Blue Raiders (9-0) past the Eagles (3-6). Game scores were 25-22, 25-13 and 25-15.
Hayley Sherwood dished out eight assists and Anna Shelley had two digs for T-burg.
Dryden 3, Lansing 0: Vanessa Scott had four kills and Kayla Kucerak dished out 22 assists to lead the Purple Lions (7-1). Annie Reynolds had four kills and Katherine Babuka served for nine points for the Bobcats (3-7).
So. Cayuga 3, Groton 1: At Groton, the Chiefs rallied past the Indians by scores of 18-25, 25-19, 25-16 and 25-12. Alexis Medina had 15 kills for the winners (10-1), while Marlee Harris served 13 aces and Haley Reynolds had nine assists.
For Groton, K’lyn Swarts, Mikayla Perkins and Katie Vanbenschoten all had two kills, while Tena Howe served five aces.
Union Springs 3, Moravia 0: At Moravia, the Wolves swept past the Blue Devils by scores of 25-23, 25-15 and 25-11. Chelsea Morath had seven kills for the winners, while Taylor Gilbert had five points, six assists, two aces and two kills. Autumn Wells had three kills and two aces for Moravia.
Edison 3, Candor 0: In Elmira Heights, Edison stayed unbeaten in IAC play with 25-7, 25-15, 25-13 sweep.
Molleigh Malanoski served up 10 aces for the Spartans (10-1, 3-0), totaling 14 points to go with six kills.
Waverly 3, Odessa-Montour 0: At Waverly, Jordan Raupers finished with 10 aces, 16 points and 13 setter assists in the Wolverines 25-9, 25-5, 25-18 IAC sweep. Bailey Tryon added 18 points for Waverly (8-2). For Odessa-Montour, Alyssa Court had four points, two aces and two kills.

Dryden 78, Whitney Point 14: At Whitney Point, the Purple Lions (3-1) won 10 of 11 events to ease past the host Eagles (0-4). No swimmer won more than one individual event for Dryden; Daniele Card placed second in the 500 freestyle and swam on two winning relays for the Purple Lions.
Watkins Glen 104, Odessa-Montour 63: At Watkins Glen, Sam Gill and Emma Allington won two individual events each for the Senecas. Gill took the 200 individual medley relay and the 100 butterfly; Allington the 50 and 100 freestyles.
