Shea Osovski scored at the 29:54 minute marker as visiting Maine-Endwell held on to defeat Union-Endicott, 1-0, on Wednesday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference Metro Division contest.
Osovski won the ball in the box and fired a ground shot to the far corner, beating U-E goalie Tyler Hubeny for the game’s only goal.
Susquehanna Valley 7, Chenango Valley 0: At SV, Connor Ulma had two goals and an assist and Will Gorman also tallied twice for the Sabers.
Gorman took a pass from Jake Evans a the top of the box and fired a shot past CV goalie Ryan Phillips to the far post to open the scoring 50 seconds in.
The Sabers added three more goals in the first 10 minutes.
Ryan Taylor and Dom Zelenyak added a goal and an assist for SV, which outshot CV, 26-1.
Owego 2, Windsor 1: At Windsor, Brandon Pauly and Simon Davis each had first-half goals as the Indians held. Owego outshot Windsor 17-2.
Horseheads 2, Binghamton 0: At Binghamton, Ben Morse tallied two first-half goals 30 seconds apart as the Blue Raiders shut out the Patriots. Brandon Hyde had 22 saves for Binghamton.
Oneonta 2, Johnson City 1: At Oneonta, Theo Malone scored the winner off Kragh Delello’s cross with 18 minutes left in the second half to give the Yellow Jackets the win.
Chenango Forks 6, Seton Catholic Central: At Forks, Anthony Bowersox and Jake Gaworecki each scored twice and had an assist to lead the Blue Devils.
Unatego 4, Delhi 2: At Delhi, Johnathan Forte, Tristin Roess and Austin Ryan had a goal and an assist each to lead Unatego to a Midstate Athletic Conference victory.
Mitch Reed had a goal and an assist for Delhi, and Quinn MacKeegan scored his first varsity goal with 18 minutes left in the first half to cut the Bulldogs’ deficit to 2-1.
Greene 3, Walton 2: At Greene, Ben Kinney scored the winner midway through the second half as Greene (12-0) came back from a 2-0 deficit in the first half. Luke Day scored twice in the first half for the Trojans, who are ranked seventh in the state in Class C.
Elmira Notre Dame 2, Waverly 2: At Waverly, the unbeaten schools tied for the second time this season in an Interscholastic Athletic Conference matchup. Bailey Rando and Elle Nittinger scored for the Wolverines, while Megan Herrick scored twice by free kick for the Crusaders. Both schools are 9-0-2.
Lansing 4, Union Springs 0: At Lansing, Shea McCartney scored three goals as the Bobcats improved to 10-0.
Vestal 3, Maine-Endwell 0: At Vestal, Kelsey Tompkins had six kills and two blocks, and Paige Santelli added 14 assists as the Golden Bears (6-3) swept the Spartans 25-17, 25-17, 25-21 in a STAC Metro game. Julie Yacovoni had a team-high two aces, four kills, nine assists and four blocks for Maine-Endwell (5-4).
Chenango Forks 191, Johnson City 213: At Genegantslet, Justin Lake shot a season-low 1-under 34 as the Blue Devils knocked off the Wildcats in a STAC match. Lake birdied Nos. 4 and 6.
Norwich 200, Seton Catholic Central 225: At Canasawacta, Corey and Ryan Johnson both shot 3 over 38’s as the Purple Tornado improved to 7-5 with a STAC victory over Seton Catholic Central. Tommy Davis had a 4-over 39 to lead the Saints.
Corning 191, Binghamton 229: At Ely Park, Donovan Austin-Reed birdied Nos. 7 and 8 on his way to an even-par 34.
Deposit 3, Hancock 0: At Deposit, Haley Linkroum scored a pair of goals in Deposit’s shutout.
Linkroum maneuvered past two Hancock defenders and beat goalie Andrea Wadeson at the 10-minute mark of the first half, and added to the lead four minutes later.
Chloe Bergman scored an insurance goal late in the second half.
