South Plainfield 13, Parsippany 3 (5 innings): Shannon McMahon posted three triples as South Plainfield used an eight-run first inning to get the jump on Parsippany. Emily Skula, Haley Hlavka, and Holly Delair each chipped in two hits for the Tigers (12-3).
Franklin 5, Union 3: Erin Galuchie and Salonika Muhammad each picked up two hits and scored a run as Franklin used a four-run third inning to pull away. Emily Riha, Sarah Smith and Megan Smiley all doubled for the Warriors (7-6).
Wardlaw-Hartridge 18, Perth Amboy Tech 0: Taylor Gerhart went 3-for-4 with two doubles, five runs and five RBI as Wardlaw-Hartridge improved to 12-0. Steph Smyczek finished 4-for-5 with two runs and three RBI for the Rams, while Ali Yamakaitis allowed just two hits, a walk and struck out 17. Yedelin Vargas and Emily Castro each singled for Perth Amboy Tech (7-7).
South Amboy 18, East Brunswick Tech 3 (5 innings): Emily Trzeciak went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, run and five RBI to power South Amboy (7-5). Sabrina Myers added three hits, four runs and two RBI in the victory. East Brunswick Tech fell to 2-12.
South River 5, Timothy Christian 4: Annita D’Amico finished 2-for-3 with a double, triple, run and four RBI as South River (9-5) scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to erase a one-run deficit and held on. Mary Heffner posted two hits and three RBI for Timothy Christian (7-5).
Rahway 6, Dunellen 5: Emily Sabo finished 2-for-2 with a double, run and RBI, and Shayla Carroll added two hits and an RBI as Rahway (10-1) posted four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held on. Dunellen got two hits, a run and an RBI and two hits and an RBI from Audrey Mongeau for Dunellen (3-12).
