Holy Trinity continued its dominant play in boys basketball on Saturday against rival Melbourne Central Catholic in an 83-47 win.
The Tigers (8-0) held a lead over the Hustlers (7-4) the entire game, thanks to sharp outside shooting by Zach Ullian and tough interior play by Jace Hogan.
Ullian, who scored 24 points, connected on six 3-pointers. Hogan had 26 points.
“We’ve been working really hard together,” Ullian said. “As our coach just said, we’re about a third of the way where we need to be. So we’ve got to keep working hard. Our ultimate goal is to win districts, and then to move on past districts and keep advancing in the playoffs so we’ve got to keep working hard to get there.”
Holy Trinity and Florida Air Academy (9-0) are Brevard’s two remaining undefeated basketball teams.
