Ice hockey roundup: St. Joseph-Metuchen ties state power Delbarton

Senior forward Felipe Rodriguez scored two goals while sophomore Michael Nisky collected a goal and two assists as the St. Joseph-Metuchen High School ice hockey team tied state power Delbarton 4-4 at Aspen Ice in Randolph Monday. Freshman Kyle Jeffers opened the scoring for the Falcons (2-0-1), while junior goalie Nick Castagno stopped 18 shots. Delbarton (2-0-1) received two goals from Tyler Kobryn, and a goal each from Andrew Petrillo and Chad Otterman. Tyler Kobryn and Kyle Riegler combined to stop eight shots for Delbarton.

Bridgewater-Raritan 7, Cranford 2: Seven different players found the net as the Panthers improved to 4-0. Tyler Darby, Alec Casiero, Will Dimock, Brett Goldstein, Ian Anderson, Alex Meade and Jordan Petersen shared the wealth for Bridgewater-Raritan.
