Immokalee High School football players suspended, including Florida commit

Immokalee High School football coach Rich Dombroski has suspended two Indians starters for violating unspecified team rules.Standout senior defensive back J.C. Jackson, a Florida commit, will sit out the next two games, while junior offensive tackle Wesley Docsol will miss tonight’s game at Clewiston. “I’m hoping this is a clear message that nobody’s above the rules of our football program,” Dombroski said. “We have to act right, not only on the football field but in the classroom.”Dombroski said he held a team meeting a couple of weeks ago where he specified the consequences for not meeting the program’s standards.”I told them they get a warning the first time, then they’re suspended,” he said. “I drew a line in the sand. We had two players step over it.”If we lose a game because of their actions, so be it. It is what it is. I would rather do that then play them and go against what I believe in.”
