SACRAMENTO, CA – The Jesuit Marauders defeated the Christian Brothers Falcons, winning this years Holy Bowl, 52-28.
It was the 43rd edition of the annual Holy Bowl, once again played at Sacramento City College.
Thousands packed the stands on Saturday, as the event has been one of the area’s biggest high school football traditions since 1969.
Jesuit’s running back Ben Parietti set a Holy Bowl record with 280 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
The Falcons drop to 3-1, while the Marauders stay undefeated at 3-0 on the season.
Next week Jesuit hosts Franklin-Elk Grove. while Christian Brothers will play host to the Whitney Wildcats.
