Grade: Senior
Position: Goalkeeper
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 200 pounds

Athletic achievement:He recorded 16 shutouts and allowed eight goals this past season, leading the Shamrocks (20-2-1) to the 7th Region Tournament final. A First Team All-State selection by the Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association, Hubbard participated in the High School Soccer All-American Game in Birmingham, Ala., in December. He concluded his prep soccer career with 50 shutouts.

Academic excellence: Hubbard has maintained a 3.86 GPA.

Exemplary character: The senior class president at Trinity, he has volunteered locally as a peer tutor and as a school ambassador. He has also donated his time as part of a fundraising campaign to benefit African clean water initiatives.


“Trinity was solid this year, but Hubbard was the clear star and was crucial to their success,” said Brad Davies, head coach of Louisville (Ky.) Collegiate School. “Take Chris off of Trinity, and I think they would have been impacted significantly.”

THE FUTURE: Hubbard will attend Notre Dame.
