LaBelle High names Chris Siner head football coach

By

LaBelle High School has named Chris Siner its new head football coach.
The 37-year-old Siner resigned six weeks ago after leading Mariner to a 9-21 record during three years with the Tritons. The Immokalee resident said the distance from his home to the school was a factor in his decision, as well as a desire to spend more time with his family.
Siner, who was also a candidate for the Indians head football coaching position, replaces Jordan Odaffer, who resigned in early March to take an assistant coaching job in the collegiate ranks. The Cowboys went 7-13 during Odaffer’s two years and haven’t finished with a winning record since 2007.
