After a rocky start to the game, Laconia blew away Nekoosa in a nonconference game in Wisconsin Dells.

Tyler Semenas scored 23 points and Nick Vollmer added 13 for the Spartans, who trailed 13-2 in the first quarter.

“After playing a tough game against Omro last night, we came out sluggish,” Laconia coach Tom King said. “We used great defense and timely shooting to get back in the game.”

Laconia outscored Nekoosa 44-17 in the middle quarters.
