KML Quadrangular: The Laconia boys and girls track teams topped their respective sides of the standings in a quadrangular hosted by Kettle Moraine Lutheran — the Spartan boys winning by 13.5 points and the girls by 12. WLA was the runner-up on each side.
The Laconia boys won six events and took second in three. Senior Tyler Semenas had a big evening, winning the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Zach Zimmerman won the 800-meter, Chad Stahmann won the 1,600 and Zack Isaac won the 110 hurdles.
The Spartan girls won five events and took second in four. They were led by Hailey Isaac’s wins in the 800 and 1,600. Alex Wagner won the 100 hurdles, and Laconia won the 4×400 and 4×800 relays.
The WLA girls won six events. Alysha Kahlow won the 100 and 200, Bethany Scharf won the long jump and triple jump, Marissa Schmitz won the 3,200 and the Vikings won the 4×100. Mitchell Bilitz had the lone win for the WLA boys in the 3,200.
