Lacy Asdourian becomes first girl to score in California boys basketball playoff game

Liberty Christian (Redding, Calif.) guard Lacy Asdourian achieved a bit of history In last Tuesday's Division V Northern California Regional playoff game against Ripon Christian.

Asdourian, who plays for Liberty Christian's boys basketball team, made a free throw in the final minute of the Patriots' 67-55 win and is believed to be the first girl to score in the California boys' basketball state tournament.

Tyler Scaife, Hall (Ark.)
G, Class of 2013
During the Class 6A state championship against cross-town rival Parkview, Scaife scored a team-high 23 points to help the Warriors end a 16-year title drought with a 56-45 victory. The Rutgers commit was awarded MVP honors of the game.

Brenna Heise, New London (Wisc.)
F, Class of 2013
Heise’s 14 points helped extend New London’s winning streak to 67 games following a 57-44 win over Logan. The team is now two wins shy of its third Division 2 state title.

BOYS

Wyatt Lohaus, West (Iowa)
G, Class of 2014
Lohaus contributed 22 points and had eight rebounds in West's 54-36 win over Bettendorf in the Class 4A title game.

B.J. Gladden, Olympic (N.C.)
F, Class of 2013
During the 4A Western Regional semifinals, the Akron signee scored 21 points and had nine rebounds, helping Olympic to its 75-55 victory against Hough.

Luke Fischer, Germantown (Wisc.)
C, Class of 2013
The Indiana commit’s 17 points allowed Germantown to keep its edge and claim the Division I state title as the Warhawks beat Mukwonago 57-28.
