ZANESVILLE

Callie Hansgen scored the tying goal with 16 minutes remaining as Zanesville earned a 1-1 tie with visiting West Muskingum in nonleague girls soccer action Saturday at John D. Sulsberger Memorial Stadium.

The game was scoreless at halftime before Kaitlyn Graham got the Tornadoes on the board with a goal at the 25-minute mark to make it 1-0.

The Zanesville seniors (Hansgen, Kayla Berry, Brooke Davy, Leanne Ulbrich, Kelsie Montgomery, Alexus Grimmett) finish the regular season 10-4-2. The Lady Devils play Tri-Valley in Division I tournament action at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Zanesville reserves won 3-0 behind two goals from Ashonda Underwood and a goal by Emma Kimberly.
