CICERO – Lafayette Jeff junior Samantha Hatter repeated as the Hoosier Crossroads Conference medalist Tuesday, firing a 3-over-par 74 at Bear Slide Golf Course.

The Bronchos finished fourth at 356, 32 strokes behind team champion Noblesville.

Hailey Harris’ 93 led McCutcheon to a sixth-place finish at 396, and Harrison was eighth at 411, getting a 94 from Ally Ross.

Jake Shake scored three goals and assisted on a fourth to rally the Mavericks in the second half.

Quentin Perez made seven saves after Lafayette Jeff took a 2-1 halftime lead.

Avon 1

AVON – Jordan Kleyn’s first-half goal stood up as the No. 2 Orioles improved to 6-0 overall, 3-0 in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.

Zach Beeler saved Avon’s other two shots, but Harrison (4-2, 2-2) did not put a shot on goal.

RENSSELAER – A pair of goals by Skyler Bouwkamp helped Twin Lakes erase a quick 2-0 deficit.

Bailey Carter also scored in the first half for the Indians (4-2), who trailed after Anjel Clemente scored and then assisted on Pierce Van Houten’s goal.

ROSSVILLE – Justin Willoughby scored four goals and assisted on all three of Elliot Packard’s scores.

Packard returned the favor with assists on three Willoughby goals.

DELPHI – Tyler VanWanzeele gave the visiting Bison the tie after Delphi erased a 1-0 halftime deficit.

Kenny Zaldivar scored twice for the Oracles (0-5-1) after Jacob Steiner had given Benton Central the lead.

Volleyball

Carroll 3

North White 1

FLORA – Bailey Worl set a school record with 29 kills to go along with 21 digs for the Cougars.

Lauren Worl also had a double-double for Carroll with 15 kills and 18 digs. Freshman Macy Willoughby and sophomore Libby Eller both had 19 digs.

Kalene Ruemler had 15 kills on .379 hitting for North White.

OXFORD – Evonnie Payne just missed a double-double at the net with nine kills and nine blocks for the Bison (6-3).

Carlie Hinkel paced Jeff with 19 kills and 15 digs. Jessica Griggs also posted a double-double with 14 kills and 15 digs.

Central Catholic 3

Tri-Central 0

Emily Denhart had a big all-around night for CC, with eight kills, four blocks and four aces.

Maddie Matson served seven aces and recorded 19 digs for the Knights.

Twin Lakes 3

North Judson 0

MONTICELLO – Chayse Lehocky and Laurhen Pickett each had seven kills, and Pickett also recorded four blocks to lead Twin Lakes (5-0).

North Montgomery 3

Southmont 1

LINDEN – Shelby Delp put down 15 kills and Hannah O’Brien contributed 10 kills and three blocks to lead the Chargers (7-1).
