LANCASTER, N.Y.-Lancaster improved to 3-0 on the season with a 17-0 win over Niagara Falls Saturday evening in Lancaster.

The game was scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Sal Maglie Stadium in the Falls but the field was deemed unplayable so the game was moved to Lancaster for a 6-pm kickoff.

Redskins running back Matt Szymanski carried 12 times for 61 yards and a touchdown. The four yard td run came one play after Ryan Ritter returned an interception to the Falls four yard line.

The other Lancaster touchdown, also in the second quarterback came when Corey Helenbrook returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown. Alex Juhasz added a 32 yard field goal for Lancaster.

Lancaster faces its toughest test of the season Friday night when they travel to Jamestown to take on the Red Raiders. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 o’clock.
