The Kiel girls tennis team finished sixth at the eight-team Chilton Tigers Invite on Friday as the Raiders. No. 4 singles player Lydia Blatz took second place in her flight. The Raiders finished with six points as New London won with 30.
Blatz had a first-round bye and then defeated Kewaskum’s Meghan Lluedtke 7-5, 6-1. She then fell to Oshkosh Lourdes’ Sara Weber in the championship match 6-2, 7-6 (7-3). Ellie Karls split her No. 1 singles matches while Amanda DeAmico lost her only No. 1 singles match. Elise Ott fell in her two No. 3 singles matches. In doubles, Sierra Lieburn-Erica Scholz (No. 1), Bethany Pritchard-Emily Dreger (No. 2) and Olivia Jonasen-Hannah Jarvi (No. 3) each went 0-2.
