The No. 4 -seeded Manitowoc Lutheran softball team collected only two hits in a 6-0 road loss to No. 1 Oakfield on Tuesday in a regional game of the WIAA Division 4 State Softball Tournament.

Oakfield, the defending champion, scored two runs each in the second and third innings before adding one run in the fourth and one in the sixth.

Lutheran committed four errors as Jordan Menges took the loss. She pitched six innings and allowed two earned runs on seven hits and three walks with one strikeout.

Menges finishes her career 17-15 overall with a 3.82 ERA.

Offensively, Kaitlin Radue and Julia Barthels each went 1-for-3 for the Lancers.

DIVISION 2 Waupun 11, Kiel 6

Brooke Goehring took the loss as No. 4 Kiel fell at No. 1 Waupun.

She threw six innings and allowed 11 earned runs on 11 hits and eight walks with six strikeouts.

For Kiel, Brenna Spencer was 2-for-4, Katie Kracht was 2-for-4 with a double and Geohring was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI.

Waupun scored in every inning but the fifth while Kiel netted four in the seventh.
